- That's the thing I guess a lot of people don't get. They CHOOSE to become nuns and serve the Catholic Church- not the other way around. The nuns do not have a choice to make rules as they go along- and not the priest either.

- From what I've read about her... her family didn't inherit a fortune but worked for it. Ann's father was a self-made business man from Wales. She gained her undergraduate degree at Harvard by attending night courses since she was raising a family.

- Mormon women have a group called Relief Society where all women- rich to poor- get together to learn and discuss issues that effect home, family, church, and community. They discuss how each woman can help the sick, the crippled, the poor, the elderly, and etc.

- If he was on a medical leave- he should not have been fired. If he didn't bother to follow the guidelines his workplace has (usually it requires paperwork) for getting a medical leave and simply didn't show up for work... then he should be fired.

- When I lived in Ohio, my county's CPS was known to be one of the worst in the country. One woman who use to be a CPS caseworker said... that if they could not find something to put down on their records... the supervisor would have to come out and find it for them.
